Bayern Munich to host Tottenham Hotspur in Telekom cup pre-season match | OneFootball

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will be hosting Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in pre-season at the Allianz Arena as they will compete for the Telekom Cup.

The game will be played on Thursday 7th August at 6:30 (local time) which is just nine days before Bayern’s first competitive match of the season, which will be the Supercup final against the winners of the DFB-Pokal.

Bayern will then be kicking off their Bundesliga campaign on the 22nd August.

Before their first pre-season match, Vincent Kompany’s side will be travelling to the USA to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from mid-June onwards.

This will be the second year in a row that the two teams will meet, as last year they played twice, once during a pre-season tour of South Korea and then a week later at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Bayern won both games 2-1 and 3-2.
