Bayern Munich have scored 29 goals after just eight Bundesliga games this season but speaking ahead of their clash against Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon, Vincent Kompany fired a warning that the Rekordmeister’s attack ‘can get even better’.

Harry Kane has nine goals after eight games, while summer arrival Michael Olise is enjoying an excellent start to life at the Allianz Arena, scoring five and creating two. Jamal Musiala has four and Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman have two apiece. Thomas Müller and Leroy Sané have also netted in the Bundesliga, while goals have been shared out in defence with Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae netting, as well as Aleksandar Pavlović.

Praising Bayern Munich’s attack in Friday’s press conference, Kompany said: “We stay calm, wen see that the team is getting better and can get even better. That’s our focus.

“Union Berlin have the second-best defence in the league. Maybe we need to step it up a gear tomorrow. We want to give it everything we’ve got and hopefully pick up a win.”
