Xeneizes gave up a goal from a set piece in the final ten minutes and dropped two points in the process.

The Buenos Aires giants started well, though, and scored the gameā€™s first goal.

29-year-old centre backĀ Lisandro LĆ³pez redirected a corner kick fromĀ Mauro ZĆ”rate to open the scoring in the 16th minute.

Late in the match, substitute forwardĀ Anthony Uribe had a poor touch trying to control a throw-in which allowed LĆ³pez a chance to clear.

Unfortunately for the visitors, the clearance sliced right toĀ Federico LĆ©rtora and the midfielder struck the ball into the bottom corner of the net from top of the area.

Belgranoā€™s 28-year-old midfielder leveled the match in the 81st minute.

Juan Gabriel PatiƱo earned bookings in the 63rd minute and the fourth minute of stoppage time so that Belgrano ended the match with 10 players.

Into the sixth minute of added time, Boca had a strong shout for a penalty after defenderĀ Tomas Guidara appeared to handle the ball whenĀ RamĆ³n Ɓbila was preparing to head in a potential match-winner but the referee looked the other way.

The result moves Boca Juniors up to 32 points and keeps them in third place in the Superliga table.

By virtue of their late equaliser, El PirataĀ earned a point but remain down in 25th place. While Belgrano still only have 15 points, they are close to peeling away from the bottom of the league table.
