Besiktas predicted XI v Lyon: Ciro Immobile to start, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ineligible | OneFootball

Besiktas have multiple injuries to contend with as they prepare to host Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.

Former Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal centre-back Paulista is out of the fixture, as are Milot Rashica and Necip Uysal. Former Arsenal player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, meanwhile, will not get the chance for a reunion with former teammates Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Alexandre Lacazaette. Yet to feature at all for the Turkish club this season, he is not in Besiktas’ Europa League squad this season and so he is ineligible to face Lyon.

There is a place in the starting XI for Ciro Immobile, however, whilst Paris Saint-Germain loanee Cher Ndour is likely to slot into the midfield, alongside former Tottenham Hotspur man Gedson Fernandes.
