Manchester United defender Leny Yoro is reportedly trying everything he can to pull off a timely recovery from injury.
The 19-year-old has managed to impress this season, showing why INEOS forked out €62 million to secure his services. But unfortunately for the Frenchman, physical issues have been plaguing his campaign from the get-go.
The teenager picked up a knock during the Premier League contest against West Ham United on May 11, leaving the technical staff sweating over his availability ahead of Wednesday’s Europa League final against Tottenham which will take place in Bilbao.

Ruben Amorim might have to negotiate his most important fixture since arriving at the club with a depleted backline, as Matthijs de Ligt is also facing a race against time to recover from his own injury, while Ayden Heaven has only just returned to action, and Lisandro Martinez has been out with a torn ACL since February.
But according to Man Utd insider Sully, the club could receive a ‘big boost’ ahead of the UEL final, as Yoro is determined to make his return from injury just in time to take part in the action.
As the journalist explains in his post on CentreDevils, the youngster’s return is far from certain, but the player has returned to grass training and is ‘working incredibly hard’.
The source adds that Amorim and his staff have been ‘amazed’ by Yoro’s work rate in recent days, but it remains to be seen if his efforts will pay due.
In any case, Man Utd should be able to rely on Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof, while the versatile Noussair Mazraoui could be fielded as the third centre-back. The same goes for Luke Shaw, albeit his long layoff renders him a less-than-ideal option to start in a European final.
