Giresunspor are no pushovers. They sit 12th in the Turkish Süper Lig and they beat Fenerbahçe away in their last competitive game just over a month ago.

So how have they just lost 5-0 at home to a team sitting sixth in Turkey’s third tier?

The two centre-backs from that win against Fenerbahçe were in the side and a bunch of first choice players joined them as the game went on, with the Giresunspor manager making three half-time changes at 2-0 and a further two changes on the hour at 3-0.

But underdogs Karacabey Belediyespor just would not stop scoring.
