The name Blanca Félix is synonymous with safety and, as has been customary since the beginning of the Liga MX Femenil, the goalkeeper from Sinaloa gave us a brilliant performance in the Rojiblanco goal in the second leg of the Quarter-Finals of the CL25 against Pumas, showing leadership and great saves.
After what she did on Sunday in the #CapitalRojiblanca, Félix once again made it clear that she is a more than reliable goalkeeper, capable of being decisive in moments of high tension and that she offers guarantees for the team by being a tremendous support in the lower zone, even in scenarios of such demand and importance, such as the final match of this series against the capital.
The Sinaloa native changed the course of the tie, because when the game was still tied at 0-0 in Ciudad Universitaria, she made several outstanding interventions, in which she brought out her reflexes and her talent to save inside the box. The most outstanding of all her actions was probably at 28', when Ximena Rios escaped down the left flank and took two shots at point-blank range, both of which were brilliantly saved by the Rebaño goalkeeper.
Here are some very interesting facts that validate the extraordinary moment of the Rojiblanca goalkeeper, since only in the match against UNAM she registered 9 saves, 4 1v1 duels won and 5 key saves in which she kept the ball. Yes, in each and every one of those records, she is the best in Liga MX Femenil during the Final Phase.
Blanca has a lot of experience and has proven it in every step she takes with Chivas Femenil's jersey, as she has won 3 championships with Guadalajara, 2 Liga MX Femenil championships and 1 Champion of Champions. There is no doubt that #12 has an assured place in the history of the Rebaño, not only for what she has achieved in previous seasons, but also for her consistency, high performance, comraderie and love for Chivas.
