Speaking during a press conference, Borussia Dortmund head coach Nuri Şahin gave an injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Celtic on Tuesday evening.

The BVB coach confirmed that Marcel Sabitzer has returned to team training and should be available for selection against the Scottish champions.

Additionally, both Jamie Gittens and Julien Ryerson should both feature on Tuesday despite taking knocks and being substituted during Dortmund’s 4-2 win over Bochum last Friday.

Gittens proved to be the difference during BVB’s opening Champions League game away at Club Brugge. The Englishman’s brace followed by a late Serhou Guirassy penalty ensured that all three points went back home with the away side.

Dortmund will be looking to make it two wins from two on Tuesday when they welcome Brendan Rogers’ side. Celtic are coming into the game in fine form. The Glaswegians have a 100% record in the Scottish Premiership and are yet to concede a goal in the league this season.
