DeterTech is well established in the UK and Europe as a leader in physical security. The company works with construction, retail, transport and utilities providers to provide solutions to predict, deter and detect unwanted intrusion and other criminal activity.
The partnership will give DeterTech rights to in-stadium advertising on matchdays at Gtech Community Stadium and to create bespoke digital campaigns for Brentford fans. The agreement includes access to Bees players to film social media content, as well as supporting the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust activities.
DeterTech owns SmartWater, the award-winning forensic marking technology. The innovative ‘traceable liquid’ provides a legally irrefutable way to identify criminals and has helped victims and police secure convictions in domestic violence cases. It also owns PID, the pioneer in monitored temporary site security.
Fran Jones, Brentford’s commercial director, said: “Our success is built on our culture and our innovative use of data to help us make great decisions and drive the club forward.
"It’s great to partner with organisations like DeterTech that value a data-led approach to success as much as we do. We look forward to working with their team and seeing what we can learn from each other.”
Baba Devani, CEO, DeterTech added: “Brentford’s unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the community is very much aligned with our own.
"In our case, we do this by focusing on crime prevention, bringing greater peace of mind through a relentless focus on predicting, deterring and detecting undesirable theft and intrusion. We’re excited by this partnership and all it will go on to achieve.”
