Brighton have made versatile Fenerbahçe star Ferdi Kadıoğlu their latest signing.
Kadıoğlu becomes the latest name to join Fabian Hürzeler’s revolution on the English coast in a reported £25.4m deal.
The Türkiye international can play in a variety of roles including as a midfielder, full-back and a winger.
He featured in all five of his country’s EURO 2024 fixtures as Vincenzo Montella’s side reached the quarter-final stage.
“I’m very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character,” Hürzeler revealed. “He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing.
“He is predominantly a full-back and can play on the right or left side; he can also play in the centre of midfield.
“He is someone who is very keen to learn and develop, and with that in mind I’m confident he will adjust to the Premier League and adapt quickly to English football.”
Kadıoğlu has signed a four -year contract at the Amex Stadium as the Seagulls’ eighth arrival of this summer.
