Burnley have completed the transfer of Caen striker Andréas Hountondji for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old Benin international is the Clarets’ fourth signing of the summer, as new manager Scott Parker looks to build a squad capable of an immediate return to the Premier League.
Hountondji scored 16 goals for Caen in Ligue 2 last season, and leaves the French club after three seasons.
In now-typical Burnley fashion, their social media team dropped another pop culture related tweet to mark his arrival.
Parker’s side kick off their Championship campaign on August 12th with a trip to Kenilworth Road to face fellow relegated side from last season, Luton Town, in arguably the game of the opening weekend.
