Hakan Calhanoglu will reportedly miss Inter’s upcoming away trip to Venezia in Serie A after coming off injured during the first half of the Supercoppa Italiana final at the beginning of the week, but the Türkiye international is targeting a return in the following game against Bologna according to the latest updates.
Calhanoglu went off after 35 minutes of Inter’s eventual 3-2 loss to rivals Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana final in Riyadh on Monday night. He was replaced by Kristjan Asllani, who struggled to fill his teammate’s boots on the night.
The Türkiye international underwent medical tests on Wednesday afternoon, and the club have since confirmed that he has avoided any serious injury, but that he has suffered a slight pull to the adductor muscle in his right thigh.
Inter add that the midfielder’s condition will be monitored on a ‘day by day’ basis.
