Carbonell: I want to repay the faith the club have shown in me | OneFootball

Having put pen to paper on her Juventus Women contract, new Bianconera Estela Carbonell spoke.

“Getting a call from Juventus brought huge emotions, and it’s true that until you get here you don’t really realise what’s happening,” Carbonell said. “Everything here is great.

“I already know Viola Calligaris from Levante, we played together there, and she helped me a lot.”

Embarking on her first experience outside of Spain, Estela is looking forward to what that can bring.

“I want to grow as a player, and to repay the faith the club have shown in me.

“I want to grow as a person too, and I think this will be a good experience and opportunity to do just that away from home.”

At just 20-years-old, Estela’s arrival bodes well for the present and the future.

“As a player, I like to contribute both in defence and attack. I love taking on opponents one-on-one and dribbling.

“On a personal level, I want to learn as much as I can from the staff and my new teammates and to improve my skillset. Then, of course, I want to win as many matches and trophies as possible.”
