Cardiff City Women won the South Wales derby, Wrexham went second in the Genero Adran Premier and The New Saints fought back to win a seven-goal thriller.

Cardiff City Women won the top of the Genero Adran Premier table clash at Swansea City by the only goal, scored by Molly Kehoe midway through the second half.

Wrexham moved into second place with all three goals of the game at Cardiff Met, Rosie Hughes again among the goals but also receiving two late yellow cards.

TNS came out on top in a seven-goal thriller with Aberystwyth Town, leapfrogging them into fourth spot. Caitlin Chapman bagged a second-half brace for The New Saints, who had trailed 2-0.

Barry Town United won the basement battle away at Pontypridd United, leaving their hosts six points adrift. An Aimee Deacon penalty was added to by Holly Jenkins before the break, India Shanahan contributing the late third goal.

Adran North

Felinheli 4-0 Airbus UK Broughton Llandudno 0-2 Connah’s Quay Nomads Llanfair United 1-1 Rhyl NFA P-P Bangor

There was also a meeting of the top two in the North, Connah’s Quay Nomads victorious at Llandudno to take top spot with a fourth straight win. Phoebe Ellis broke the deadlock and Shannon Hobbs made sure of the points late on.

Felinheli beat Airbus to overtake them and sit in third position, Catrin Evans and Jody Cain netting in the first ten minutes, Fflur Williams and Ffion Williams later adding one each.

Llanfair United gained a second point of the season in a draw with Rhyl. They took an 85th-minute lead through Mary Bailey but Sade Benjamin equalised.

Adran South

Swansea University 0-6 Briton Ferry Llansawel Llanelli Town 1-1 Cwmbran Celtic Coed Duon P-P Caldicot Town Cascade 3-1 Pontardawe Town

Briton Ferry hit third-placed hosts Swansea University for six to make it four wins from four, two goals each from Megan Kearle and Alison Witts.

Cascade defeated Pontardawe to remain goal-difference behind the leaders from a game more. Phoebe Ware, Annaliese Lewis and Lauren Boyd were on target for the hosts.

Llanelli Town and Cwmbran Celtic stay fifth and fourth respectively, finishing one apiece despite a red card for the visitors’ keeper Alex Cridland before the hour mark. Dannielle Evans’ early goal for Llanelli had been cancelled out on 32 minutes by Celtic’s Jade Crofts.

Trophy draw

The Genero Adran Trophy Round of 16 draw will be broadcast on RedWall+ at 8pm on Thursday 9 November.
