Real Madrid are preparing for a big change as Carlo Ancelotti gets ready to step down, and it is not just the legendary manager who will be leaving.
According to a report from MARCA, Davide Ancelotti—Carlo’s son and trusted assistant—is also ready to start a new chapter in his coaching career.
While it may seem like Davide’s decision is linked to his father’s exit, the report makes it clear that he has made this call independently.
After spending over a decade as part of his father’s backroom staff, Davide now believes it’s the right time to take the lead on his own.
At just 35 years old, Davide Ancelotti has already built up an impressive CV. Over the last 13 years, he has been by his father’s side at top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Real Madrid.

During this period, he has helped win 12 major trophies, including two Champions League titles, a Bundesliga, a Copa del Rey, and a Club World Cup.
Davide’s next destination is still unknown, but European clubs are already showing serious interest. His agency, DV7 Management, has reportedly received offers from several top-level sides.
In fact, two years ago, Everton had approached Davide to take over as head coach, but he turned it down, saying he was still in the learning phase. Now, with years of elite experience under his belt, he is ready to take the leap.
His calm presence on the bench, modern ideas, and ability to connect with players have made him a highly respected figure in football.
As he prepares to step out of his father’s shadow, all eyes will be on where Davide Ancelotti lands next—and whether he can build a legacy of his own.
