Roma’s defeat to Inter once again showed the limitations of Ivan Juric’s squad.

The Giallorossi proved unable to dictate the game in their own stadium, eventually committing one grave mistake which cost them the game.

Today’s Italian media reports did not spare the likes of Zeki Celik and Nicola Zalewski – both voted as the worst players on the pitch for Roma last night.

La Gazzetta dello Sport called Celik “the symbol of Roma’s problems” and “not starting material.”

Meanwhile, Zalewski received the biggest criticism from Il Tempo: “On his return as a starter, the evening was a disaster, with two big flaws in the performance: the wasted counterattack and the lost ball that allowed Inter to score.”

The highest rated players were Mile Svilar and Evan Ndicka; both were praised for keeping Roma solid at the back.
