Celtic are sweating on the fitness of four players ahead of next Sunday’s Betfred Scottish League Cup final against Old Firm rivals Rangers.

Striker Odsonne Edouard didn’t feature in Saturday’s 4-1 league win at Ross County and manager Neil Lennon expects him to miss Wednesday’s game against Hamilton as well.

According to the Daily Record, Lennon said: “We’re taking it day by day. I can’t pinpoint when he’ll [Edouard] be back.”

Mohamed Elyounoussi, Boli Bolingoli and Olivier Ntcham are also all sidelined at the moment for the Bhoys.

“We’re not sure on Boli yet. He might be a doubt. Jonny Hayes should be fine. I’m hoping Odsonne will be okay as well.

“You don’t want to take a chance with it. He may or may not be fit, we will monitor it day by day.”

Despite their injury woes, Celtic took care of business at County with relative ease. A first half brace from Ryan Christie had them 2-1 up at the break, and goals from Tom Rogic and Michael Johnston sealed the deal.
