Our earlier article today stated that in our view it’s now time for Elena Sadiku to leave the club to allow a more experienced manager to come in and face a massive rebuild task for the Celtic FC Women’s team, which has a £20m training facility at Barrowfield completed and ready to go.

The only goal of yesterday’s dreadful game came in the 13th minute and that allowed theRangers back into the title race and first versus second match between Hibs and Glasgow City ended in a 2-2 draw.

With a huge goal difference advantage theRangers now need to beat the two Edinburgh sides Hearts and Hibs this week to become Champions.  Celtic had a chance to stop that – and kill their treble dreams stone dead but once again the Celtic support was left frustrated, disillusioned and completely let down by Sadiku’s side.

“Let’s not sugarcoat things that has been an extremely disappointing season to say the least, after what I thought was impressive performances against Chelsea in WCL early on it’s has been abysmal. Hopefully changes in the summer.”
