Kyogo is very much a big game player

Kyogo Furuhashi is going through something of a rough patch at the moment. The Japanese striker is admittedly a bit below par, but writing him off would be very foolish indeed. Like the saying goes, form is temporary class is permanent, and that is certainly true in the case of Kyogo.

Kyogo is very much a big game player. Derby matches, cup semi finals and finals, European games. The wee man has produced the goods when it matters the most, and he will continue to do so.

Tonight’s clash with Aberdeen is one of those games that Kyogo thrives on. The big occasion. Talk of him being omitted from the starting line up is silly, especially with Adam Idah just passed fit for game.

Kyogo missed chances against Dundee

Kyogo missed chances against Dundee that he would normally bury with his eyes shut, but he is still very much the player we have all known and loved for the past three years. Back in the day Henrik missed his fair share of sitters too, just like all strikers.

Even if Adam Idah was one hundred percent fit I’d still be amazed if Brendan Rodgers dropped Kyogo. He is still very much a big game player, and tonight is our biggest game of the season domestically.

Kyogo I believe will play from the start, and I’m confident he will produce the goods on the night. First goal scorer odds anyone?
