CF Montréal have confirmed the signing of midfielder Caden Clark on Thursday.
The 21-year-old American arrives looking to rewrite his MLS career after stints with Minnesota United and the New York Red Bulls.
The deal means Minnesota will receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money in 2024 and Montreal’s second-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
Additionally, if performance-based conditions are met or if Clark leaves MLS, more money could be allocated to Minnesota.
Clark made 70 MLS appearances with his two former clubs, registering seven goals and four assists.
