Milan can secure a top eight finish with victory away to Fabio Cannavaro’s GNK Dinamo Zagreb, so Rafael Leao, Alvaro Morata and Christian Pulisic start, with Fikayo Tomori at right-back.
It kicks off at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb at 20.00 GMT.
While they are guaranteed at least a play-off spot, Milan can secure a top eight finish and direct access to the Round of 16 after five straight Champions League wins.
The Rossoneri fought back to beat Parma at the weekend, but tension spilled out in a row between coach Sergio Conceicao and captain Davide Calabria.
With Calabria suspended for this game, Emerson Royal injured and new buy Kyle Walker cup-tied, Tomori has to be a makeshift right-back.
Malick Thiaw, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alessandro Florenzi are also still on the treatment table.
Youssouf Fofana has no need to rest, because he will be suspended for the Derby della Madonnina against Inter this weekend.

GNK Dinamo Zagreb hired Italy World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro as their new coach on December 29 and this is only his third match.
They have a huge absentee list, including suspended Lukas Kacavenda, injured Bruno Petkovic and Petar Sucic.
Players ineligible for this tournament are Dino Peric, Petar Bockaj, Sadegh Moharrami, Faris Krkalic, Jan Oliveras and Mauro Perkovic.
In theory, Dinamo can still qualify for the play-offs, but sit in 26th place on just eight points.
