🎙 Chelsea celebrate Conti Cup win, Khadija Shaw shines and the UWCL | OneFootball

The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football across Europe.

First up it’s the FA Women’s League Cup Final which saw Chelsea get a 6-0 victory over Bristol City. The six goals included a hat-trick from Sam Kerr leading the panel to question just how long Chelsea can hold onto the player and with Fran Kirby playing a role in all six goals, is it just a matter of time before she is considered a contender for the Women’s Ballon d’Or?

Over in Spain and after a tough few weeks for Atlético Madrid things went from bad to worse as they were defeated 1-0 by Real Madrid in El Derbi Madrileño. With Real now sitting in the third spot, can fans begin celebrating finishing the season with a Champions League qualification place?

Then to France and despite a disappointing loss for Bordeaux against Paris FC, there was a lot of praise for Jamaican footballer Khadija Shaw who is currently the top goalscorer in the Division 1 Féminine.

And finally this week’s hot topic is the Champions League. With the quarter-final fixtures on the horizon, the panel give their predictions and discuss the upcoming games which include Barcelona vs. Manchester City and PSG vs. Lyon.
