WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blues this morning.
Evrard joined Chelsea from Belgian club OH Leuven last summer. The 29-year-old stopper arrived in South West London with a big reputation after starring for the Belgian national team at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.
Evrard was sent out on loan to Chelsea’s Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Brighton & Hove Albion for the 2023/2024 season. The keeper made three appearances for The Seagulls in all competitions before returning to parent club Chelsea with a long-term hamstring injury. Evrard was unable to make a single appearance for The Blues in her time with the club.
Despite Evrard having recovered from her injury, the keeper was unlikely to get minutes at Chelsea and she has now been allowed to complete a transfer to Dutch club PSV. The player returns to The Netherlands for the first time in five years. She previously turned out for FC Twente between 2016 and 2019.
It has been reported that Evrard has signed a two-year contract with PSV. She is the club’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
