One Chelsea player has now broken the record that was held by world class Brazilian Neymar after his latest goal and assist performance.

Chelsea have signed some top talents over the last couple of seasons, some of whom are already in the first team doing bits.

Others are yet to arrive at the club, and one of those is Brazilian winger Estevao Willian, who will officially become a Chelsea player in the summer of 2025 when he turns 18. It’s hard to believe that he is still just 17-years-old with the amount he is already achieving in football.

He has already earned two caps for the senior national team, and he is of course a regular feature for Men’s side Palmeiras over in Brazil.

Estevao scored the opener for his club over night in their 5-3 win over Juventude and he also grabbed an assist in the game.

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, the latest goals and assist from Estevao sees him break the record set by Neymar when he was U17 and playing in the Brazilian league.

Estêvão Willian breaks Neymar’s record for the U-17 with the most goals and assists (G/A) in a single edition of the Brasileirão!

Estêvão has completed 18 G/A for Palmeiras in Brasileirão this season. He will join Chelsea in July, says Romano.

That is truly remarkable for a player so young. He really is the next biggest thing to be coming not only out of Brazil, but to hit world football and burst onto the scene.

He has the world at his feet and his ceiling is so high that he could easily become the next biggest name in football should he continue this trajection. Chelsea have a true gem on their hands here in Estevao, and Blues fans cannot wait to have him at Stamford Bridge.
