Chelsea Women defender Aniek Nouwen loaned to AC Milan

Chelsea centre-half Aniek Nouwen has extended her contract and gone out on loan to AC Milan for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old, who has nearly 40 caps for the Netherlands, commits herself to the Blues runs until the summer of 2025.

General manager Paul Green told chelseafc.com: “We are delighted that Aniek has extended her contract with the club. Aniek is one of the best young defenders in the world, who needs to keep developing and we see this as a great opportunity for her.

“Emma [Hayes] and I are looking forward to seeing her add even more experience to her game at AC Milan over the upcoming months.”
