Chelsea’s Cole Palmer hails ‘crazy’ Barcelona star | OneFootball

Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has this weekend come in for fresh praise on the part of one of the Premier League’s leading stars.

The player in question? Cole Palmer.

Wide-man Lamine, for his part, has of course spent the season to date reiterating his status as world football’s standout young player.

Dazzling from his berth on the right flank, the Spanish international has racked up 21 direct goal contributions in 26 appearances across all competitions.

It was Lamine’s performance during last summer’s European Championship final, though, which caught the attentions of the aforementioned Cole Palmer.

Drawn on the best youngsters in the game during an interview with Sky Sports this weekend, Chelsea midfielder Palmer gushed:

“Lamine Yamal? He’s 17. It’s mad, isn’t it? I didn’t really see him much last season, but when we played him in the Euro final, just watching him…it’s crazy, he’s so good. Crazy.”
