Nuno Espírito Santo's high-flying Nottingham Forest are off to the start of dreams this evening as they lead table-topping Liverpool at The City Ground.
It was none other than leading man Chris Wood who gave Forest the early lead against the Reds, calmly converting past Alisson after Anthony Elanga picked out his final third run.
With that, Wood has achieved seasonal-best goalscoring figures while leading the line for Nuno's troops, hitting his 13th Premier League goal of the campaign in 21 appearances.
The veteran centre-forward has also achieved the feat of scoring against every single Premier League side that he's faced twice or more.
Now just one goal off equaling his best-ever goal tally in the English top flight, his strike allowed Forest to find the first goal in a match for the 17th time in the league campaign, four more than any other outfit.
A dream return to Europe is surely on the cards.
