In celebration of the ‘0161 Christmas Calling’ campaign, City in the Community is expressing its appreciation to partners that offered their time and resources to make many of the campaign activations possible.

From party prize donations to fundraising and free participant boiler checks, every contribution from each organisation involved has had a positive impact on the campaign, going a long way to empowering healthier lives with city youth through football.

Commenting on the kindness of the partners involved in the Christmas campaign, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at City in the Community, Sam Dainty, said: “It’s humbling every year to see this many people coming together for such a great cause over the festive period.

“Campaigns like ‘0161 Christmas Calling’ could not achieve as much as they do without this generosity.

“On behalf of City in the Community, I want to say thank you to each and every individual, partner, staff member involved in the Christmas campaign for their time and contributions.”

The ‘0161 Christmas Calling’ campaign presents an opportunity for fans to come together with the Club to support City in the Community, and local children’s hospitals.

The full list of partners who have donated services and items to this year’s Christmas campaign is: Manchester City Football Club, Joie, Classic Football Shirts, Blue Emergency Cover, Palatine.

Commenting on the reasons why they work with City in the Community, Jonathan Usher of Classic Football Shirts said: “Being involved with City in The Community as a charity partner is not just about giving; it's about making a lasting impact to people's lives, creating positive change, and being part of a collective effort to build a better future for those who need it most of which CITC is at the forefront in creating in the local community.”

Joie also commented on their support for the charity, adding:“Joie and Manchester City have a very common goal - to be able to give back to the local community.

“After being asked to support the charity in 2023, we were delighted to be able to donate two of our i-Traver car seats to this year's CITC Christmas Party raffle.

“We hope that these seats will allow the winning families to be able to get out and about safely over the festive period.”
