City v Everton: 2024 celebration cover, Benjani interview and Manchester Mayor’s XI | OneFootball

2024 is very much in focus on the front of our Boxing Day matchday programme.

Designer Dave Flanagan’s wonderfully illustrated cover for the Everton game looks at another phenomenal year for the Blues.

The key moment, of course, was the achievement of our History Makers as Pep Guardiola’s men won an unprecedented four Premier League titles in succession.

The drawing also sees Phil Foden lifting the PFA Player of the Year award and also references 10 years of the CFA, which has had a major impact on the club and the community.

We have interviews with young stars Rico Lewis and Nico O’Reilly while we also speak to cult hero Benjani.

Benjani was signed on transfer deadline day in February 2008 and made an unbelievable start just days later as he scored the second goal in a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The mercurial forward talks about his time at the Etihad Stadium, chatting about his boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, teammate Richard Dunne and that Manchester derby victory.
