CM: Ballo-Toure’s ‘destiny’ sealed after Milan Futuro red card – his future | OneFootball

Fode Ballo-Toure looked to be away from AC Milan in the summer, but he began to train with the Futuro side last week, offering him another chance, perhaps. However, he certainly has not taken it, and he is in a familiar position once again.

When it was reported that the left-back was back at Milanello, it came as a bit of a shock, considering he had been blocked from training with Milan, amid a summer of no interest. Nevertheless, he was given an opportunity for the Futuro side, and perhaps, a chance to play regular minutes.

A red card in his debut was definitely not the way to take this opportunity and Calciomercato.com have reported that his destiny is sealed now. His contract ends on June 30, and his future is, understandably, ‘far from Milan’.

It seems a free transfer will be the only option, with him refusing a move during the summer – much to the displeasure of the management – and the previously interested teams remain as options for him.

When he does leave, it will mean the Diavolo have an extra €1 million net salary available for new – or existing – players. Any other added fees – perhaps, a move in January – would only be welcomed, given his fate is written.
