Gerry Cardinale recently extended the vendor loan owed to buy AC Milan, hoping it would raise faith in him. However, this has not happened, and the pot is now bubbling.

This season has been difficult for everyone involved, and fans have recently begun to show their anger. There has, of course, always been the occasional frustration, but there have rarely been extended protests, but Sunday’s game told a tale.

Milan played out a 1-1 draw with Roma, a poor result in the grand scheme of things which can be added to a catalogue of similar results and off the pitch, protests continued.

Once again, Cardinale was told to sell the club by the chanting supporters, of which the number and volume have grown in recent weeks, and according to Calciomercato.com, the owner is very much aware of things.

As their report states, the American had hoped that the news of the vendor loan extension would increase confidence in his position, so the fact that the protests are ongoing has ‘annoyed him’. In fact, the situation as a whole is frustrating him.

Winning the first trophy of his era is a must for the American, and he will hope that any success lowers the frustrations, but right now it is difficult to see that admittedly.
