CM: Milan hunting for another striker – Retegui and Kean among the targets

For now Sergio Conceicao is picking between Tammy Abraham and Santiago Gimenez, but AC Milan could make further changes to the attack in the summer.
As Calciomercato.com recall, Conceicao was asked about whether Abraham or Gimenez will start against Napoli in his pre-match press conference. His reply: “We worked with everyone. On the principles of the team, on the moments of the game. We also stimulated the talent, the quality of the players.”
The rumours coming from Milanello suggest the English centre-forward will start, who is highly motivated to try to end the season as a protagonist. The former Chelsea man wants to stay with the Rossoneri, but what has been done so far is not enough to earn confirmation also for next season.
Regardless of what Conceicao’s final choice will be, Milan will be given a makeover in the attacking department this summer. Gimenez will be joined by a physically strong striker, then Francesco Camarda has a big chance of being loaned out to Monza after the deal fell through in January.
Lorenzo Lucca is certainly one of the profiles that Milan continues to think about, also in anticipation of a more Italian squad compared to the recent past. A fundamental condition for opening negotiations with Udinese is linked to the price, because above €25-30m will be deemed too much.
Moise Kean and Mateo Retegui are two profiles that are very popular, but have very high costs. Abroad, Jonathan Burkardt of Mainz and Mika Miles Biereth of Monaco are being followed closely.
