Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals match schedule confirmed | OneFootball

Miami, FL - Concacaf has confirmed the match schedule for the inaugural Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals. The tournament’s final four —Semifinals, Third-Place Match, and Final—will be held at the iconic Estadio Universitario in Nuevo León, Mexico, from May 21 to 24, 2025. These exciting matches, where Concacaf’s first-ever W Champions Cup Champion will be crowned, include four elite women’s clubs: Club América Femenil (Mexico), NJ/NY Gotham FC (United States), Portland Thorns FC (United States), and Tigres Femenil (Mexico). Semifinal action is set for Wednesday, May 21, kicking off at 7:30 pm ET (5:30 pm local) with América Femenil taking on Gotham FC. Later that evening, at 10:30 pm ET (8:30 pm local), Tigres Femenil will face Thorns FC. These semifinal matchups were determined based on the Group Stage results (available here and below), with the group winners facing the runners-up from the other group. Tickets for the W Champions Cup Finals are now available via Concacaf.com/w-champions-cup/ticketsThe semifinal winners will advance to the Final, set for Saturday, May 24, at 10:00 pm ET (8:00 pm local time). Earlier that day, the losing semifinalists will compete in the Third-Place Match, kicking off at 7:00 pm ET (5:00 pm local time).In addition to being crowned as the best women’s club in the region, the tournament champion will also earn a spot in the new 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup and 2028 FIFA Women’s Club World Cup. More details on these two FIFA women's club competitions are available here.The Concacaf W Champions Cup is an annual tournament that includes 11 of the best clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The first edition kicked off in August of 2024 with a single-leg Play-In in which Vancouver Whitecaps FC (CAN) defeated Alianza Women FC (SLV) 1-0. With the victory, the Whitecaps advanced to the Group Stage, completing Group B. The Group Stage saw 10 clubs—three from NWSL (United States), three from Liga MX (Mexico), and one from each of the domestic leagues of Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Panama—divided into two groups of five clubs each, with each club playing every club in their group once. The five-week Group Stage took place from late August to mid-October 2024.  At the end of the Group Stage, the two top teams in each group advanced to the Semifinals. FINAL GROUP STAGE STANDINGSGroup A1.
