Sergio Conceicao made a big call at half-time of Milan’s Serie A match against Parma on Sunday, opting to take off both Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao after just 45 minutes in San Siro.

Milan went in for the break level at 1-1 at home against Marco Giampaolo’s Parma. The Rossoneri had fallen behind to a Marco Cancellieri goal after 24 minutes, but Christian Pulisic responded from the penalty spot with 38 minutes on the clock.

Not impressed by his team’s performance, Conceicao opted to make a pair of big changes to his team at the interval.

Leao and Theo were replaced by Ismael Bennacer and Davide Bartesaghi respectively. Bennacer lined up in midfield next to Youssouf Fofana, while Yunus Musah moved out to the right wing and Pulisic to the left, where Leao had started. Bartesaghi came on as a like-for-like replacement.
