Milan star Christian Pulisic was forced off with a calf injury during his side’s 2-1 defeat away to Atalanta, and while the Rossoneri still hope to receive comforting news from medical tests on Monday, they are worried the offensive winger could miss more than one game.
The 26-year-old forced Marco Carnesecchi’s first save just seconds into the game at the Gewiss Stadium on Friday but was to limp off minutes before the half-time break after receiving a knock from Mario Pasalic.

The USMNT ace will undergo medical tests on Monday but, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, his condition prompted Milan’s concerns in the hours following the match as they know that calf is a tricky muscle that would urge them to be cautious to avoid a relapse.

Pulisc is already certain of being ruled out of the Rossoneri’s Champions League match against Red Star, but if Monday’s MRI scan confirms a muscle strain he could stay out for up to three or three weeks, meaning he could miss Serie A clashes against Genoa and Verona.
The former Chelsea winger hasn’t missed a single game so far this season, racking up eight goals and six assists from 20 appearances across three different competitions.
