Celtic could see the departure of one of their players as soon as today, with a club waiting to pounce when the Bhoys give the green light.
The Parkhead outfit are working to wrap up the arrival of left-back Kieran Tierney from Arsenal, which would be expected to open up the exit door for Alex Valle to sign for Italian side Como.
The Italians have been waiting patiently and have a deal in place with Barcelona to loan the left-back.
Now, according to Sky Italia, Celtic have ‘unblocked’ the Tierney deal and the left-back is expected to move from Arsenal back to Parkhead.
It is suggested that could mean that today is Valle day for Como, with the Italian side able to get the deal over the line, as his situation would also be unblocked.
The defender clocked 20 minutes of action in Celtic’s 1-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
He will link up with a side sitting in 13th spot in the Serie A standings, but just three points clear of the drop zone.
Como also recently completed the signing of former Everton and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.
