Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic is confident Cheick Doucoure will adjust quickly.

The 22-year-old midfielder is in line to make his competitive debut for the club against Arsenal tonight.

“He is a little bit shy because maybe he is a little bit scared of his English," Milivojevic told Palace's website. “We as a group, we have an unbelievable group in the dressing room.

“I'm not worried for any new faces coming into the club, because there will be plenty of boys to help them adapt – I am one of them.

“It's important to have that mix of experienced and young players – we help each other to be honest. We help those young boys adapt, and they push us until our limits.

“It's the second season with the same manager, and we are all looking forward to it because every new season is new challenges, new games and new opponents because everything changes.

“It will be very different this year."
