David Luiz has signed a new contract with Flamengo which will keep him at the club until 31 December 2023.
The 35-year-old’s current deal was due to expire at the end of this year.

Since moving to the Maracanã the former Brazil international has helped the Rubro-Negro win the Copa Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil.
He has so far made 57 appearances for the club.
