Wins over Bayern Munich and Real Madrid capped off the team’s exquisite run across competitions and proved to the world that their start to the season was anything but luck.

Ronald Araujo, despite not being involved so far this season, thus called for celebration in the form of a meal together and the squad met on Wednesday afternoon for this show of brotherhood.

A special environment

As revealed by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s ‘brotherhood meal’ was organised at Masia Rosas de Sant Cugat and was attended by all the players and the technical staff.

The first to arrive for the event were Hansi Flick’s assistants Tapalovic and Westermann and Sergi Dominguez and Marc Bernal were the first players to arrive.

The players soon flocked into the venue for the event, with Marc Casado being the last player to arrive.

Arranged at the venue was a live barbeque grill with multiple varieties of proteins including steak and Creole and it lasted for over five hours. Jules Kounde, however, was the first to leave just two hours after it began.

Alongside the various meats were a platter of salads for the players to enjoy and everything was prepared according to the recommendations of the club’s nutritionists.

With music, food and comradely lighting up the party, the players and technical staff had a sumptuous lunch despite the rain and unpredictable weather.

No player or captain gave any speech or address and the gathering was rather informal. What stood out, according to the Spanish outlet, was the relationship between the player and the management who appeared no less than a large family.
