Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel is not suffering any lasting effects from the injury that forced him off during Saturday’s 3-1 win at Arminia Bielefeld.
The 23-year-old collided with the post during the first half, but was able to play on after treatment.
However the Switzerland international was replaced by compatriot Marwin Hitz at half time.
Kobel has since confirmed to Ruhr Nachrichten that his bruised thigh is not a serious issue.
There is even the chance that he could recover in time to face Ingolstadt in Tuesday’s DFB Pokal second-round clash.
If not, manager Marco Rose will be able to choose from the experienced duo of Hitz or Roman Bürki.
