“I want to win the Champions League, with Roma or any other team,” said La Joya, a former Juventus and Palermo star.

Dybala reached the 2017 Champions League Final, but his Juventus side lost 4-1 to Real Madrid in Cardiff.

Dybala joined Roma as a free agent from Juventus in 2022, but he was close to moving abroad in the past.

“I was close to finalising two transfers, including one at PSG,” the striker revealed.

Dybala’s Roma contract expires in June, but his deal will automatically be extended by one more season as soon as he completes three more appearances, playing at least 45 minutes in each game.

The latest reports in Italy suggested that Dybala’s agent would meet Roma directors to discuss a contract extension after the end of the January transfer window.

Dybala had a €12m clause in his contract, but it expired on January 15.

The 31-year-old has scored 39 goals in 99 appearances with the Giallorossi. He’s expected to play his 100th game for the club tomorrow when Roma host Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.
