Coventry City did themselves extremely proud last weekend following an excellent performance against Manchester United.

Several players had the chance to impress in front of millions of people - and some of the Sky Blues' first-teamers may have used this opportunity to put themselves in the shop window ahead of the summer window.

Plenty of Coventry players impressed at Wembley - and some of them may have increased their own price tags following an excellent display in the English capital.

Speaking of their squad and their players' valuations, we have picked who we think are the club's best players and compare their market values, courtesy of Transfermarkt.

Milan van Ewijk - £4.31m

Dutchman van Ewijk only joined last summer, but the right-sided player has already made an excellent impact since his move from Heerenveen.

The Sky Blues reportedly forked out around £3.4m to secure his signature - but his market value has increased by nearly £1m.

At 23, the wide player should only get better with more game time under his belt, and you would back Mark Robins to give him the game time he needs to develop.

Able to play as a full-back and in a more attacking role, it's no surprise that the 23-year-old has been able to make an impact in the final third at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

When Sakamoto signed, he looked like a player that Coventry desperately needed.

Although Coventry are able to operate with a back five effectively, Sakamoto could offer them something different as a tricky winger who can make a real difference in attacking positions.

Registering seven goals and two assists in 29 league appearances this season, it's a shame that his season has been ended early by an injury issue.

But he could build on an excellent first campaign at the CBS Arena next season, with the winger's presence allowing Robins to switch between systems if he wishes.

Ellis Simms - £5.18m

It was difficult to judge whether Simms should have been included in this list, considering he hasn't always had it his own way this season.

However, the ex-Everton man is a major goalscoring threat and his performance against United last weekend was admirable.

Scoring against Erik ten Hag's side, he was unlucky not to score the winner after hitting the crossbar in stoppage time.

His stature should serve him well in the next season or two, as well as the confidence he has probably gained during the latter stages of this term.

He is the player who has the highest market value on this list.

Callum O'Hare - £2.16m

It was a toss-up between O'Hare and Sheaf for top spot - and it could be argued that the former is unlucky not to be number one on this list.

The attacking midfielder has been nothing short of brilliant since returning from a severe knee injury, making a real impact for the Sky Blues even when he hasn't been able to get himself on the scoresheet.

He shouldn't let his penalty miss against United last Sunday define him, because he has shown real class during his time at the CBS Arena.

With his contract expiring this summer, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him play in the Premier League next season.

Ben Sheaf - £3.28m

Sheaf was probably the best player on the pitch against United - and that isn't a surprise considering how much of an important figure he has been for Coventry in recent years.

A lot has been said about the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Gus Hamer and O'Hare in recent years, and understandably so with all three shining, but Sheaf deserves plaudits for the way he has performed.

Being such a crucial figure in midfield, he has played a big part in keeping Coventry at the right end of the table, and he's probably worth quite a bit more than this market value.
