Eupen announced the signing of Wisła Plock top scorer Davo on deadline day. The Spanish forward has signed a three and a half year deal with the Pandas. Davo has scored nine goals for Wisła this season, as well as providing three assists. The former UD Ibiza player can play wide left or as a central striker, giving Ed Still’s side a versatile option in attack.
Eupen are in desperate need of a goal scorer, with the usually reliable Smail Prevljak having scored just three goals in 19 matches so far this season. Konan N’Dri and Regan Charles-Cook are the sides joint top scorers with five goals.
The Pandas were active on deadline day, bringing in three players alongside Davo. Togolese central defender Loic Bessilé joined on loan until the end of the season from Charleroi, while former Khimki defender Alexander Filin came in on a free to also strengthen the defence. Eupen also brought in Ibrahim Diakité on loan from Reims, as well as Brandon Baiye on a two and a half year deal from Clermont Foot.
