The Coppa Italia semifinal tie between AC Milan and Inter Milan remains in the balance after yesterday evening’s first leg draw.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, argue that the Nerazzurri could have gotten the better, but that things looked very even overall.
AC Milan and Inter Milan have already faced each other on four occasions this season.
And so far, the Nerazzurri have yet to win a derby against their city rivals.
Having lost the first two derbies of the season. Inter have now come back from a goal down to draw in the fixture on two consecutive occasions.
However, this time the draw leaves things more finely-poised than ever.

For both Milan and Inter, the hope was that they could tilt the Coppa Italia tie in their favour in yesterday’s first leg clash.
The Rossoneri thought they’d done so after Tammy Abraham put them 1-0 up at the start of the second half.
However, former Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu came back to haunt his old team. He scored the equalizer with a stinging long range effort.
Therefore, neither Inter nor Milan have any advantage to protect going into the second leg.
It will be ninety more minutes of football in which both of the two derby rivals feel that they have a strong chance.
