Al-Hilal deny Inter Miami’s second half comeback, winning 4-3 thanks to a late Malcom goal in club friendly.
Scorers: Mitrović 10′, Al-Hamdan 13′, Michael 44′, Malcom 88′; Suárez 34′, Messi 54′ (PEN), Ruiz 55′
Aleksandar Mitrović opened the scoring early for Al-Hilal, curling a clean strike into the bottom right corner after entering the box from the left-hand side.
The Saudi Arabian side doubled their lead quickly when Abdullah Al-Hamdan finished into the bottom left corner with a first time shot from outside the box.
Inter Miami struck back through Luis Suárez who slotted home into an open net to score his first goal for David Beckham’s side.
Al-Hilal quickly regained their two goal advantage when Michael leapt the highest to head home a looping cross from Al-Hamdan.
The MLS side seemed to wake up in the second half scoring two goals within two minutes of each other.
Lionel Messi smashed home a penalty into the top right corner and David Ruiz squeezed a fine effort in at the near post to level the scores.
However it was Al-Hilal who stole the win late on as Messi and Suarez’s former Barcelona team mate Malcom glanced home a header to seal victory for his side.
