Forward Joaquin Correa has returned to fitness ahead of Sunday’s Serie A showdown between Lecce and Inter Milan.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They also confirm that defender Yann Bisseck will return shortly.
Inter have been dealing with a number of injury issues in recent weeks.
One player who has been absent has been Joaquin Correa.
The 30-year-old former Lazio and Sevilla forward has been out with a slight muscle problem. He picked the issue up during the Supercoppa Italiana earlier this month.
Correa has hardly been rushing back to fitness. He has been patiently working on his recovery program.
The Argentine was not in the squad for yesterday’s Champions League match against Sparta Prague.
That is because Correa is not in Inter’s Champions League squad list.
However, the 30-year-old will be able to make his return on the weekend. Inter’s next match is against Lecce in Serie A on Sunday evening.
Then, FCIN confirm, defender Yann Bisseck is close to making a return.
The German should be back in training either tomorrow or Saturday, ahead of Sunday’s match against Lecce.
On the other hand, the wait for Hakan Calhanoglu to return will be a little longer.
