“The truth is that an international break is always a special time to prepare for a match, as a coach you never know what to expect.”

“I put myself in Juric’s shoes above all: he has just arrived, and what’s more he has seen the players go away with their national teams, he doesn’t know exactly in what shape he’ll get them back.”

“The main difference is that Inter have a precise playing identity: the growth of the group has been exceptional, from every point of view. They play almost mirror-like, but in reality it is an illusion.”

“Juric loves man-marking. And so I say: that will be the tactical key of Sunday’s match. The result will depend on what Roma will be able to do by marking man to man everywhere.”

“The problem for the Giallorossi is that usually it is precisely when faced with teams that play in this way that Inter knows how to give their best.”

“Roma? They already narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Champions League last season. Now we are going through a phase of great change, it is not easy to absorb everything, we will have to see how quickly the players will adapt to the new coach and his new style of play.”

“And it is not easy, also because we are now on the third coach in less than a year. Of course, by status I say that Roma should always aspire to play in the Champions League.”

“De Rossi? First of all, I say that I experienced him as a teammate and an opponent. And it was already evident back then that he’s meant to become a coach. He was that intelligent as a player.”

“With him I was surprised twice, first when they called him in place of Mou. And then now that they sent him away after a contract renewed for three years.”

“Coaches need to be given time, that’s the truth. This is especially true for those whose team was completed in the last hours of the transfer market. A team is not created from one day to the next.”
