FC Utrecht have announced the signing of striker Noah Ohio from Standard Liège. The Netherlands U21 international has signed a three-year deal at the Stadion Galgenwaard, valid until the summer of 2027. Ohio returns to his country of birth following a brief loan spell with Championship outfit Hull City. The 21-year-old netted three goals in eight Championship appearances during the second half of last season.

Born in Almere, Noah Ohio kicked off his career in the youth ranks at Manchester United and then with Manchester City. In 2019 he joined RB Leipzig which led to loan spells with Vitesse and Austria Vienna. Now, he’s found a permanent home in FC Utrecht. The Eredivisie outfit finished 7th in the table last season and will be hoping that Ohio’s contributions can help fire them further up the league.

Utrecht now have a squad filled with exciting young talents, with Noah Ohio joining the likes of Zidane Iqbal, Paxton Aaronson, Taylor Booth and Adrian Blake to name a few. They’ll certainly be a side to keep an eye on next season.
