Filippo Inzaghi on Simone’s Serie A title win: “Scudetto gives him deserved satisfaction” | OneFootball

Inter have won the Serie A for the 20th time in their history and it is the first time that Simone Inzaghi has won the Scudetto in his career. His brother, the great Pippo Inzaghi, has stated that the win gives his brother a lot of satisfaction.

While Pippo enjoyed loads of success as a player and won multiple trophies at the highest level, the same can’t be said for Simone’s playing career. But the younger Inzaghi has now shown that he has silverware in him as a manager, having previously won the Coppa Italia as well.

Pippo Inzaghi spoke to DAZN (via TMW) recently and he talked about his brother’s achievements as a manager at Inter.

“Since he arrived at Inter this is his great success, he has already won cups but the Scudetto gives him deserved satisfaction. Now he’s super too. For me, he already was, this is a bit of his consecration. I’m happy for him, he’s a guy who deserves it for his work and for how he lives this profession.”

Inzaghi won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana even last season and at Lazio, he won the Coppa Italia as well. They also reached the Champions League final last season, only to lose narrowly to Inter in a close game.
