MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers reach a decisive stage in Round One with the final matches in Groups A, B, C, and D on Friday.

Group A

Puerto Rico vs. Bermuda

Puerto Rico and Bermuda meet to decide first place in Group A at Estadio Centroamericano in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Both teams earned back-to-back wins in their opening matches.

This will be the fifth time these teams face each other in the Qualifying stage. The nations previously met in the 2008, 2013, and 2016 editions, with Puerto Rico leading the series 4-0-0.

Michaela Poidomani for Puerto Rico and Milan Gibbons for Bermuda will be two players to watch in attack. Both players are coming off match-winning goals in their previous match.

Cayman Islands vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

A first-time match-up awaits when the Cayman Islands meet Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group A at Estadio Centroamericano in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

Both teams will seek to recover from defeats and exit the tournament with a victory. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have found the back of the net through Stephanie Hunte, who will seek to add to her tally.

Group B

Belize vs. U.S. Virgin Islands

Belize and the U.S. Virgin Islands meet in Group B at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

This is the second time these teams will face each other, as they previously met in the 2020 Qualifiers, where Belize was victorious. The two squads will seek their first goal and first win as they exit the tournament due to back-to-back defeats.

Trinidad and Tobago vs. Honduras

Trinidad and Tobago hosts Honduras in Group B at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

Honduras arrives with six goals in favor and none conceded. Jazlyn Sánchez leads the squad with three goals, and Alexandra Merriam follows with two to her tally.

Trinidad and Tobago have seven goals in two games and also have yet to concede. Orielle Martin leads the team with four goals, while Rori Gittens, Mia Lee Chong, and Cherina Steele have also found the back of the net for the Soca Warriors.

Group C

Guyana vs. Turks and Caicos Islands

Guyana and Turks and Caicos Islands will face off in Group C at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Guyana won the only previous meeting between the two nations, which faced each other in the 2022 qualifiers.

Avril Pasvolsky and Veronica Chatta are the authors of Guayana’s two goals in the tournament so far. Turks and Caicos Islands have yet to score in Round One.

Panama vs. Cuba

Panama and Cuba will meet for the top spot in Group C at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Las Canaleras have 12 goals in two matches. Alison Onodera and Shaday Mow are two of the main protagonists of Panama’s offensive line.

Cuba has seven goals in two games and has conceded only once. Yaiselis López, Sunehri Borrego, and Marianelis Reyes have two apiece to their respective tallies.

Group D

Curaçao vs. Anguilla

Curaçao meets Anguilla in Group D at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua. The two teams last met in the 2012 Qualifiers, when Anguilla won.

Jeandrelys Alexandre scored the for Curaçao in the team’s opening match. Anguilla has yet to find the back of the net and will also seek to exit the tournament with a win.

El Salvador vs. Guatemala

A Central American rivalry match between El Salvador and Guatemala will decide the winner of Group D at Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua. The two meet for the fifth time at the U-17 qualifiers, with La Selecta leading 4W-0D-1L in the series.

El Salvador features the tournament’s best offense, with 15 goals in two matches, and has yet to concede. Maya Buerger leads the top scorer race with six goals.

Guatemala has shown its strength with eight goals in two games. Linda Galindo has scored in consecutive matches for La Bicolor and leads the team with two goals.
